WHAT WE DO
Our Services:
Comprehensive Case Management: Client-centered services that address the full range of each client's needs; including provision of direct services to meet those needs when they are not readily met through existing social service systems. We coordinate services when a person has multiple service providers. When a service is needed that does not already exist, we "think outside of the box" to come up with a solution.
Health Care & Social Service Access and Navigation: Assistance with accessing and navigating the maze of health care services, social services, Social Security, and other community resources. We advocate on behalf of clients to ensure they receive the benefits and services for which they qualify.
>Our fee for direct services is $55 per hour, with a sliding schedule available.
Services to Brokerage Customers: PHP is certified by the State of Oregon Seniors and People with Disabilities Division to provide services to customers receiving services through brokerages.
>For more information regarding our services to customers of brokerages, visit BROKERAGE CUSTOMERS.
Our Programs:
TEN ("Things Everyone Needs") Program: Many adults with disabilities have little or no income. They may be living in subsidized housing and have food stamps, but lack the money to buy essential items such as toilet paper, shampoo, and household cleaners. These essential items cannot be purchased with food stamps. The TEN Program provides these items as well as a small amount of money for laundry.
>For a list of items to donate, visit HOW TO HELP.
MEMS ("Medical Equipment and Medical Supplies") Program: When people have no insurance or are underinsured, they may not be able to access medical equipment or supplies they need. People Helping People accepts and provides medical equipment and medical supplies at no cost to those who have no other means to access them.
